SDR Logistics is a logistics company specialising in long-haul transport by the use of Superlink Tautliners, Volumax and Side Tipper truck trailer combinations. Our roots date back to 1975, with a single 8-ton truck transporting fresh produce for vegetable markets, to now consisting of a fleet of over 50 trucks in operation nationwide. Through resourceful innovation and determination, we have been able to situate ourselves alongside industry leaders and have established ourselves as a multi-faceted organisation, offering a variety of professional services customised to suit each client's needs.

Reduce Cost

We understand the impact that trucks have on our environment. Instead of driving back to the loading points empty, SDR Logistics ensures that trucks are always loaded. Our nationwide coverage assists with reducing operational costs significantly, which allows us to provide highly competitive rates.

Insurance

Our GIT which covers goods of up to R1,300,000.00 is inclusive of Alcoholic Beverages and goods coverage for the following countries: South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Swaziland, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Angola & Democratic Republic of Congo (no further north than Kolwezi).

Cross Border

Long Haul trucks are equipped with valid cross border permits registered with the CBRTA. Drivers are in possession of valid documentation and passports which have been verified with the relevant government departments. SDR Logistics works closely with border agents for clearing and forwarding of loads.

Monitoring

All trucks and trailers are fitted with sophisticated tracking systems being monitored 24/7 by our highly technical team. In addition to GPS Location, trucks are also remotely monitored for driving efficiencies, service schedules and drivetrain performance.

Fleet Maintenance and Support

Trucks are well maintained and have warranties/service plans with the relevant dealerships. The trucks used for long distance hauls are covered by a 24/7 roadside breakdown service, directly with manufacturers.

24/7 Operations Team

Our controllers are available 24/7 in order to provide updates, conduct documentative tasks and ensure loads are being transported efficiently.
